APA/American Perfect Storm Picks Up a Couple of Knots of Windspeed

Argue-2

You’d have to be in a cave to not have read the letter from APA leadership to American Airlines’ management that is now making the rounds.

Our excellent sources, who shall remain nameless, sent us a copy of the letter Monday night.

Today, it’s all over the front page of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, as well as the airline business blog of the Dallas Morning News. (Terry Maxon has the entire letter posted there, so I won’t duplicate his efforts here.)

In addition, our email box is stuffed.

The most noteworthy quote from the letter, which was written by APA President Lloyd Hill, was the conclusion, “Enjoy your blood money and your union-busting. We’ll see you in court, in the newspapers, and on the picket line.”

One PlaneBusiness Banter subscriber asked me today if I was going to comment on the letter this week in PBB.

Nah, it’s not that important.

Yes, I’m kidding.
