Broward County is located at the center of the southeast Florida “Gold Coast,” between Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. The county has a population of approximately 1.8 million citizens in 30+ cities, with 170,000 residing in Fort Lauderdale, the largest municipality and the seat of county government.
